Alemany Farm is a project of the Alemany Resident Management Corporation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving conditions in the Alemany Community, a 165-unit public housing development. Volunteers are always welcomed and encouraged.

Hayes Valley Farm

Hayes Valley Farm (HVF) is an education and research project with a focus on urban agriculture. The intent is to create a successful, sustainable urban farm where community members can access healthy local food, to serve as a model and a resource center for urban agriculture education and green job training and to build community resiliency around local food production.

Mary Queen of Vietnam (MQVN)

Established by community leaders of the Mary Queen of Viet Nam Church in May 2006 to assist Vietnamese-Americans in New Orleans East rebuild their lives and their community. The organization is developing the 27 + acre Viet Village Urban Farm. The farm will consist of individual/family plots, commercial farming plots, livestock and infrastructure for community use.
